The role
We're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with our customers and deliver real outcomes inside their operations. You will be the technical owner of one or more customer deployments — translating their problems into product, building what's needed, and making sure it lands.
This role combines engineering, product, and customer work. The expected split is roughly half engineering, half customer-facing — including on-site travel to customer operations centers and tower sites.
In this role, you will:
- Run discovery sessions with customer operations, engineering, and commercial teams.
- Translate operational requirements into written specifications and product features.
- Build customer-specific configurations, integrations, and extensions on top of the core platform.
- Deliver demos, training, and onboarding to customer teams.
- Stay close to the deployment after go-live — monitor usage, surface issues, drive adoption.
- Bring customer insight back into the product roadmap.
Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong TypeScript and React, or strong Python with a willingness to work across the stack.
- Comfort and confidence working directly with customers — running meetings, presenting solutions, handling objections.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in MENA and Africa.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Casablanca or Rabat.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in a forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role.
- Background in telecom, IoT, energy, or industrial operations.
- Experience leading customer onboarding or implementation projects.
- Multilingual — French and Arabic are particularly useful in our markets.
- Strong written communication: you can produce specs and customer-facing documents that others can act on.
