Reports & Analytics

Build a report once. Send it every week.

Reports & Analytics is the part of MLNetworks that builds energy reports for your sites from the same site data as the rest of the platform, and sends them on a schedule.

Pick the site, the energy measures and the period. Check the charts, save the report as a template, and schedule it to go to your list every week.

Reports built on the data the platform already holds

Integration scope is defined for each deployment, and each source is validated with your team before it is named as supported.

From the report to the DG and battery

The Monday report lands with the people who own the numbers. When a DG run-hours or battery figure needs action, carry on in Energy Management.

Numbers you can check

  • Know what is in the file before you make it

The builder counts rails, KPIs, sheets and rows before you generate, and warns when a report is large.

  • Same file on screen and in the inbox

A scheduled report attaches the file the server generates, so the inbox copy matches what you tested.

  • Scoped to what the product measures

Reports cover the energy measures the platform collects. Each deployment confirms which are available.

FAQ

Questions from operators

What can a report contain?

Energy measures grouped by rail, such as Grid, Generator, Battery, Solar, Fuel and DC load. You pick the KPIs, the sites and the period. Which measures are available depends on the data connected in your deployment.

Can we build our own dashboard layout?

Not today. A report opens with one chart per KPI you chose. There is no region filter, cross-filtering or drill-down yet.

How does scheduling work?

Save a report as a template, then set a daily, weekly or monthly cadence, a time and recipients. You can pause and resume a schedule. Scheduled delivery depends on how the deployment is configured.

Which formats can we export?

Excel, PNG and PDF from the report dashboard. A report can also be generated as an Excel file directly.

Does it replace our BI tool?

No. It reports on the operational data the platform holds. If you need a wider business view, take the Excel export into your own tools.

Which report would you like to stop building by hand?

Bring a real case. An MLNetworks expert will walk through it with you.
