Workforce & Scheduling

From alarm to closed job card.

Workforce & Scheduling is the part of MLNetworks that turns an incident or a planned task into a field job, dispatches it to an engineer and brings the proof of visit back.

MLNetworks carries a work order from the incident that raised it to the photos and form that close it, so the job can be followed to the end.

    A history of the job

Status changes, reviews and comments are listed in order. Anyone opening the work order can see what happened and who decided.

Replaced equipment goes to the asset register

When a technician replaces equipment, the change is listed on the work order. Once the job is completed it goes to Asset Truth, where a person approves or rejects it.

Built so a closed job can be trusted

  • The incident stays on the job

The incident, site and findings that raised the work order stay attached to it.

  • No closure without proof

A job is reviewed against the submitted form and photos before it is closed.

  • People keep the decision

A person approves or rejects each review, and a comment is required.

FAQ

Questions from field operations

Where do work orders come from?

From an incident, from a maintenance plan or by hand. Which of these your team uses is set for each deployment.

Can we use our own workflow and checklists?

The stages a work order moves through and the form a technician fills in are defined with your team. The steps shown here are a demonstration.

Who approves completion?

A reviewer approves or rejects the submitted form and photos, and a comment is required. The platform does not close a job by itself.

Does it replace our ticketing or workforce systems?

No. It reads from the systems you already run, and what can be connected is defined for each deployment.

What happens to equipment that a technician replaces?

The change is listed on the work order and sent to the asset record once the job is completed. A person approves or rejects each change there.
